Higher Diploma (Bridge to MA)

Introduction 

Higher Diploma (Bridge to MA) is a one and a half-year intensive crash program (3 semesters) which may be completed in a minimum of 1 year (2 semesters if a student takes more than full course load; 8 courses per semester) and a maximum of four and a half years (9 semesters). Students can take one to six courses per semester. However, the entire program has to be completed within a maximum of four and a half years.

The minimum requirement to join this course is:

(1) Undergraduate degree in any field other than Islamic Studies

(2) Graduation, Post Graduation or above in any field other than Islamic Studies.

Online Admission Process

Admissions are open all year long. There are two semesters per year; the Fall semester begins from September, and the Spring semester starts from March. You may enroll immediately in your courses once your payment has been received by IOU.

Registration

a)    Kindly go to this link and create a free account.

b)   Once your account is created, you will be required to upload  here a scanned copy of your:

  • Undergraduate/graduate/post-graduate degree
  • Passport-size color photo, and
  • Your photo ID (passport/national ID card)

Within 2 days, you should receive an email from the IOU Registrar's office informing you of the status of your application.

c) Upon receiving the acceptance email with the easy-to-follow instructions, proceed to pay the fees. Additionally, they can be found here.

d) After you have paid your fees, proceed to enroll in the semester.

Please note: Once you pay your fees and enroll in your semester that will be your first semester and starting point of your program.

Fees

Semester registration fees for the undergraduate program range from $130-425 US depending on the student’s country of residence. Click here to select your country of residence and to see the applicable fees.

These are the only fees we charge per semester. The course is completely tuition-free and the course material is also provided free of cost. Additionally, there is an E-Library available as a study aid for the students.
