Guidelines

All students must ensure to:

1

Maintain discipline and communicate with the center members and other students in a polite manner.

2

Do not disturb the proctors or the other students.

3

The center has complete authority to bar a student from giving the exam at the center due to disciplinary issues. In such cases, the IOU will not assume any responsibility.

4

Please follow the Islamic etiquette while you are in the exam center. Remember that you are a student of Islamic knowledge, and your actions and behavior should be in accordance with that.

During the exams

1

Do not come late to the exam center. Reach the exam center 5 minutes before the given time. Do not go very early and start revising there, as it will create inconvenience to the center members. Remember that they gave you the time depending upon many factors and going there outside the approved hours may cause them inconvenience.

2

It is compulsory to bring a photo ID (national ID card, passport, etc.) to the center as proof of identity for the proctor.

3

It is strictly forbidden for students to ask the center/proctors for the passwords at any time (even after the exams have been completed). Any student found doing so will have their exams graded at zero and will face disciplinary action.

4

If due to any misunderstanding a proctor/center offers you the exam passwords you must not take them under any circumstances, doing so will result in a zero grade and disciplinary action.

During the exams, it is forbidden to:

  • Refer to notes, books, open other windows on the computer, etc.
  • Ask anyone for help with answering questions.
  • Chat with other students, friends, etc.
  • Disturb other students, the proctor, members of the center, etc., in any way.
